ALL THESE 3 PROJECTS PLUS THIS E-PORTFOLIO WILL BE TAKEN TO ACCOUNT FOR THE FINAL GRADE. EFFECTIVE PUBLIC COMMUNICATION
{ My teammates, Jean,, Sara, Lawrence, Shreya, Omar and I were working as one team, for this following project. The theme of this project was to create a photo blog that consists of 25-30 photos that were categorized under Food, People, Activites and Architecture. For this project we all traveled to Penang, my hometown, to explore the city-centre Georgetown. There we walked arond for a good 5-6 hours finding the best places for the best pictures. }

{ Here I learnt that Penang is a jewel of a city that has many thing to offer; ranging from food to archtiecture within the city. With the skill of incorporating digital features such as a blog, we managd to not only learn about a new place but also advertise its beauty to hopefully many other people. Finally, of course this assignment also helped us brush up on our communication skills. Skills like these can be applied to the working world and future assignments. }

{ My teammates, Jean, Sara, Lawrence and I decided to maintain us four as a group because we now know we work well together. For this project we had to identify non-verbal communication technics used in murals. Altogether we had to analyse 4 murals, 2 from the Klang Valley (Petaling Jaya) and 2 outside of the Klang Valley (Penang). For this project we again traveled to Penang, my hometown, but for now to 'hunt' for murals. }

{ For this assignement, we had to compare to business of the same kind from two different areas. This project was an intergrated project between English II and EPC. My group, Allester, Jonathan, Sara, Lawrence, Jean and I chose dentist clinic as our business to compare. We had compared Thurai Dental in Petaling Jaya and Farmosa Dental in Penang. After receiving and researching enough infomation, we had to write a report as well as a slideshow to present to the Ms. Cassandra ( English II lecturer) and Ms. Thivilojana. }

{ In this assignment, I learned a lot about artistic backgrounds of various artist and painters. I also obtained a deeper understanding of the art community in Malaysia and how important it is for our and future generations to apppreciate art before it dies off completely.. Lastly in this assignment, I have come to sense that non-verbal communciation can be very important and may lead to judgement about one's self. }
{ In this assignment, I learnt some useful communication skills acquired to interact with people which are of not our age category or profession. I also experienced the correct and proper way to conduct an interview professionally. Also, thanks to this project, I also got a chance to have an insight look of how a business is being run. The comparative analysis between both of the dental clincis had taught me some tactics and strategies to gain success in a business. Therefore, I was able to gain some basic knowledge about starting and running a business which will benefit me in the future which could also be my future clients.}
